What Does My Pet Need?

In order for our animals to help us in the deepest way possible, our pets need to be cared for and respected by their humans. Pets require their basic needs to be met. This concept may seem simple, but what does taking care of our pets really mean?

Our animals need to be eat food that is healthy and nutritious, satisfying, and tastes good to them. With so many more options than there were even a few years ago, you can be sure there is a type of food that works for your animals body and a flavor that he prefers. Animals do have flavor and texture preferences for the food they eat. Your intuition can help you determine what food is the best fit for your pet. Ask your animal through the “airwaves” or get a sense by visiting your local pet store. Scan the pet food isles, trust what “comes to you” and the feeling you get about what food and flavor will work best for your pet.

Another important necessity for animals, is the need to receive attention and affection from you. Animals don’t just want to exist. Pets need playtime, fun, and bonding time with their humans. They want to be touched, petted, talked to, and loved. Our Angels in fur need to feel a part of your “family” and treated as an important and respected family member.

The concept of making sure our pets have their basic needs met seems obvious, but so vital to ensure our Angels in fur can help us in the greatest way possible. Our pet’s highest purpose is to assist us in our daily lives. To help us learn and grow. The stronger our love and connection is with our animal, the clearer the messages are from our pet.
